Beyond the file

There’s a person behind the product work.

The work explains how I think. This page keeps the parts that do not fit inside a case study: what I write, read, watch, and keep learning in public.

A quieter side

Quiet places reset me. I gravitate toward green corners and a little less noise. That is usually where I can hear my own thoughts again.

I get curious about a lot of things: writing, photography, podcasts, games. If something gives me a new way to make, understand, or notice, I want to try it.

Anxiety is part of my life too. I will not dress it up as a superpower. Some days it is simply hard. I am learning to put the extra attention somewhere useful: into being prepared, paying attention to people, and showing up with care.

Behind the microphone

Podcasting started with my love of writing and late-night radio. A six-month radio internship taught me scriptwriting and program production; a later station introduced me to sound engineering and the craft behind what listeners hear.

That curiosity became Haga w Eshreen, a safe space built with friends, then Ged Geddy, where I made Arab history easier to follow. Today it continues through Figmawya, sharing design knowledge in Arabic. Different directions on paper, but every episode adds something to the designer I am.
